Lola, tricolor Bernese and Aussie mix sitting

Lola

Lola is a friendly, fluffy, loving dog who is an Australian Shepherd and Bernese Mountain Dog mix. She is new to therapy work and comes to the office just 1 or 2 days per week. She is very good natured, happy, and loves to lay with clients on the couch.

Lola is not a certified therapy dog yet, but she puts a smile on client's faces and provides a comforting presence. Petting her during sessions can bring both a pleasing sensory experience as well as a boost of oxytocin.

Legacy

Wallace in therapy chair

Wallace was my first therapy dog and he was a faithful coworker every day for nearly 9 years. He was a role model for diaphragmatic breathing and he provided a welcoming and calming presence for many clients over the years. He is loved always.
